Sustainability Week at the Botanical Garden 2024

Welcome to a week of sustainability at Botan! Through guided tours, exhibitions, and other activities, we explore various aspects of sustainability and how we can all help to protect biodiversity.

You will find the exhibition and all events in the southern part of the garden. All events are free of charge, but you need to book your place for some activities.

  • Tuesday, April 9th, 13:00-14:00  Guided tour about biodiversity (Swedish). Book your free place, NB! booking required 
  • Wednesday, April 10th, 13:00-14:00. Workshop: Learn how to take cuttings. (Swedish)  Book your free place, NB! booking required
  • Thursday April 11th, 13:00-14:00 Guided tour about biodiversity. (English) Book your free place, NB! booking required
  • Thursday April 11th, 14:00-15:00 Discover your surroundings! Guided tour with environmental psychologists. (Swedish and English) Read more here

  • Friday April 12th, 15:00-16:30 Cutting exchange! Bring your plant cuttings and exchange them with others. (Swedish and English)  Read more here  
  • Saturday April 13th, 11:00-15:00. Children´s activities: Crafts, experiments, and gardening together with Botan, Experiment Express from Vattenhallen and the fairtrade shop Klotet. (Swedish and English)
