Where art meets climate research

Colourful artificial greenhouse in a garden

Broken Greenhouse – Embodied Climate Futures is an upcoming exhibition in the Botanical Garden in Lund created by the artist duo Bigert & Bergström. The exhibition consists of five sculptural greenhouses that in different ways portray the UN's climate scenarios for the year 2100.

The project is a collaboration between Bigert & Bergström, the Botanical Garden and multiple climate researchers at Umeå University. Between 23rd and 25th of May, an opening weekend will be held.

The exhibition Broken Greenhouse will run at Botanical Garden from May 23rd to September 20th, 2025.
