Threats & opportunities: Plants' place in our sustainable future
Climate change isn’t the biggest driver of biodiversity loss today - although it is still a huge factor! So, what else is affecting plants and animals, and how can we help nature thrive now and in the future? In this guided tour you will meet some members of the plant world living in the botanical garden. This international bunch of plants will tell us stories about the past and help us in shaping the future, with help from Allison Perrigo in translating into a human language (in this case, English).
The tour is free, but you need to book your ticket here. The tour starts outside the entrance to the greenhouse.
This event is part of Sustainability Week 2023, an annual event organised in collaboration between Lund University and Lund Municipality. This year, over 60 lectures, guided tours, exhibitions, and more are arranged.
